SteamWorld Heist might be released in December on 3DS

The Swedish developer, Image & Form, is looking to release SteamWorld Heist on 3DS in December, after actually having delayed its release for an entire year. Talking with Gamerpros, CEO Brjann Sigurgeirsson admitted that the original plan was to release SteamWorld Heist in December of 2014, but they decided to delay and further develop the game:

"Initially, we wanted Heist out in December 2014, but due to constraints and just a feeling of unhappiness we decided to hold back on it because we just want to do things right, and deliver a game our team could be satisfied with. Thankfully, Steamworld Dig sustained itself so it allowed us a bit of time to make things better."

While the team is looking for a December release for Nintendo 3DS, they can't really "make any promises". All the other versions of SteamWorld Heist are due out in 2016.
