This news piece started off as one about how Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb was a little too eager in revealing that we could pre-order and pre-download Shenmue I & II for Xbox One. When clicking on the link he shared last night we also got to see that the game is launching on August 21 - something which Sega hadn't confirmed until just now.

Sega also told us that those who pre-order will also get "a double-sided poster starring fan-favourite characters from the hit saga as well as reversible cover art featuring original artwork." This classic double bill will also come with a few quality of life improvements, including "fully scalable screen resolution, choice of modern or classic control schemes, PC graphics options, an updated user interface and the option to enjoy either the original Japanese or English voiceovers."

Shenmue I & II will be released on PC (where it's only available digitally via Steam), PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (both physically and digitally) on August 21. And finally, you can see the new trailer that landed alongside this announcement below.
