PvZ: Garden Warfare 2 scores a massive free update
Trouble in Zombopolis: Part One adds a new map, new characters and lots of tweaks.
Even if Overwatch hogs all the limelight these days, for some months now there's been another online shooter with a light-hearted style and quirky characters that offers decent combat and plenty of laughter, and that's Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2.
The game just got a new update/expansion/patch called Trouble in Zombopolis: Part One, which besides being completely free, increases the number of characters and environments available to players.
Zombopolis is the new capital city of the undead world, and includes the biggest location created for the game so far: the Zombopolis Herbal Assault Map, which comes with its own mini-boss.
In order to get the most out of this new area, PopCap Games has created 1200 additional collectible customisation items and two new character types, one for each side, called Breakfast Brainz and Toxic Citron.
And on top of the new content, the update also brings with it better balance via more than one hundred tweaks and fixes, all detailed via the patch notes.
The update is illustrated with the new PvZGW2 Trouble in Zombopolis trailer that you can see below:
