President Donald Trump continues to wage his war against vaccines in children. As part of a recent White House briefing, the United States leader signed an array of orders, with one calling for the limitation of childhood vaccines and the splitting of the MMR shot used to target mumps, measles, and rubella.

Trump is calling for a reduction of childhood vaccines from the 18 recommended by the American Academy of Paediatrics, to only 11 shots. It should be said these orders are not actual mandates and are simply regarded as guidance, all as Trump continues to target vaccines and continue to claim there is a connection between vaccines and current autism rates.

Speaking on the matter, as per BBC News, Trump stated: "Decades ago, children received only a small fraction of the vaccines required today. In those times, people were much healthier and of course the high rates of autism now observed did not exist."

As for which diseases Trump still recommends vaccines and treatment, it's mainly for the most devastating diseases, including measles, mumps, rubella, diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, polio, Haemophilus influenzae type B, pneumococcal disease, human papillomavirus, and chickenpox/varicella.
