Pole's Big Adventure - 8-bit comedy from Sega

Details of Takao Miyoshi's (Phantasy Star Universe) new Wiiware effort Pole's Big Adventure have been revealed in the latest issue of Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu as well as the official Japanese website. The game is a humorous take on the classic 8-bit side scrolling platformer with the hero Pole trying to catch the baddies. The levels will feature plenty of gags and apparently some of them will have something to do with "big poles".

The game will release on February 3 in Japan and cost a mere 500 points to download on the Wiiware service. It remains to be seen if Pole across it across to Western homes.
