To absolutely nobody's surprise, the latest in the Pokémon series, Pokemon Black/White has broken records in Japan with initial first week sales reaching 2,637,285. It becomes the fastest selling game in the popular series, with the previous outing Diamond/Pearl selling a mere 1,586,360 in its first week back in 2006.
The DS title adds new Pokémon alongside some comprehensive online multiplayer features. A European release is expected in Spring of 2011.
