As any hardened virtual footballer know, the European release of the Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 demo has been delayed.

Today Konami had this to say about the delay in a official press release:

"We're happy to confirm that the PES 2015 demo for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 will be released on European PSN and Xbox Live this week on September 24th. We're sorry to keep everyone in Europe waiting, we've overcome a small technical issue to bring it to you as soon as possible. We can't wait for you all to try the demo and see why PES 2015 has won so many awards this year including the coveted, Best Sports Game at this year's gamescom - Europe's largest consumer event.

Thanks for your understanding and continued support, and sorry again for the delay."

As some of our readers already have found out, there is a work around for this delay though if you take the time to make a Hong Kong PSN account and download the demo that way.

PES 2015 will be released globally for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC on November 13.

REVIEW. Written by David Moschini

"The game has its flaws, and the absence of some licenses remain a troublesome setback, but at least the gameplay is in the best shape it has been in years."
