Right after Overkill revealed more details on their Walking Dead game, Starbreeze Studios has given us a release date for another one of their games, Payday 2, that's coming to the Nintendo Switch.

Payday 2 will release on Nintendo's console on February 23 in Europe and Australia, whilst North America gets it the next week, February 27. The game will launch digitally self-published on the Nintendo eShop and also physically on retail, thanks to 505 Games publishing.

The co-op first-person 'heist simulator' adds to the growing lineup of action games on Nintendo's platform, and its successful formula offers a different experience to those like the recent Doom or the upcoming Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus.

Is this a game you can see yourself taking with you on the go?
