Neverwinter: Storm King's Thunder launches August 16

Today, Perfect World Entertainment Inc. today announced Neverwinter: Storm King's Thunder is set to land on PC August 16 as well as on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 at a later date.

The expansion "ushers the age of Frost Giants into the land of Neverwinter. Storm King's Thunder" and will have a new end-game campaign, a dungeon tier and its own unique story.

The expansion will involve giants trying to invade Neverwinter, with players travelling north to Bryn Shander in order to investigate. Wulfgar and Harshnag, characters from the lore of Dungeons and Dragons, also feature in the expansion.

New adventure zones are also added, including the aforementioned Bryn Shander, Cold Run and The Lonelywood. Fangbreaker Island, a new Tier 3 dungeon, is also added to the game, as well as brand new gear too.
