EA have announced that they will be delaying the release of NBA Elite 11. The reason is said to be that they've listened to the criticism against the demo of the game and because of this they want to polish it a bit more.

"Unfortunately, NBA ELITE 11 is not yet ready and we have made a decision to delay next month's launch. We are going to keep working until we're certain we can deliver a breakthrough basketball experience," EA Sports' Peter Moore writes.

"We've listened to your feedback, and made a judgment that the game would benefit from more time in development," he added.

NBA Jam will be out on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 "before Christmas" and the Wii-version will be released as planned on October 5.
