During the Kinetic Publishing Showcase, the first event to be hosted by Kinetic Games' new publishing label, developer Electric Saint made an appearance to provide an update on the cosy slice-of-life motorbroom adventure known as Crescent County.
Set to launch on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Switch 2 sometime in the summer of 2027, this game is a fantastical experience with a techno twist, as it revolves around the young adult called Lu, who is tasked with ferrying around parcels as a courier by day and then tearing up the asphalt as a street racer by night. The main catch is the vehicle of choice isn't a car or motorbike, as rather it's a motorised broomstick, i.e. a broom with an engine attached to its rear.
With inspiration from Sable, Dredge, Olli Olli World, Kiki's Delivery Service, and even the Isle of Wight, we're told Crescent County is looking to provide a multitude of gameplay elements spanning broomstick riding and racing, relationship building, an open-world to get lost in, and broad customisation elements too.
