Following the success of Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley in 2024, followed by this year's adventure Moomintroll: Winter's Warmth, Tove Jansson's beloved Moomins now seem ready for more digital adventures. This time, however, Norwegian developer Hyper Games has been replaced by French developer Crossbridge Game Studios, which seems to bring differences in both design and gameplay (though it's still a point-and-click game).

The title is Moomin: Midsummer Madness and is based on the book of the (almost) same name. If you haven't read it, here's the premise of the adventure:

"As Moomintroll waits for Snufkin to return from his travels, a sudden flood hits Moominvalley. The Moomin family discovers a strange building while drifting through the rising waters - a mysterious "theater" filled with costumes, scripts, and a unique magic stage. Players will experience famous scenes recreated with deep respect for the original source material, as well as entirely new adventures."

Now we can share a new trailer ahead of the release, which is scheduled for a date to be announced later this autumn. The confirmed platforms are PC, Switch, and Switch 2.
