Bandai Namco's RPG Tales of Berseria is set for release in August in Japan, and early next year in Europe. The publisher just sent us a boatload of new screens, all adorned with Japanese characters.

First up, some battle themed screens:

Next are some event screens taken from cutscenes (we have no idea what's going on, but judging by the stern faces it's something serious):

We also got some screens from the map view:

The rest of the pictures go into some detail on menus, including skills, equipments, upgrades, and character screens, but needless to say without Japanese skills you're probably not getting much out of looking at them.

REVIEW. Written by Matti Isotalo

"The early notes were promising, but this sixteenth game in the series couldn't quite maintain its strong start."
