Layers of Fear redesigned for Nintendo Switch

Layers of Fear Legacy set to launch soon.
Sergio Figueroa 18 September 2017

Bloober Team's awarded horror adventure Layers of Fear is coming to the Nintendo Switch "soon". Publisher Aspyr Media and developer Bloober Team announced a "redesigned" version for the hybrid console that will be distributed digitally, but also physically in certain countries. This version of the game will be called Layers of Fear Legacy.

This is a first person psychedelic horror game based on story-focused exploration of a world "inspired by masterpiece paintings, architecture and décor from the 19th century". You control a painter that suddenly finds himself painting something unique, but something happened in his mind when he was about to finish his Magnum Opus.

Neither the press release or the first trailer (see below) of this version point out the differences with the old version that was released on PC, Xbox One, and PC early 2016 and Layers of Fear: Legacy. Motion control is an option, but also HD rumbling. And the post-launch DLC is likely included. Are scary games something you'd like to bring with you on the go?
