Larian shows how they managed cross-saves in Original Sin II

Earlier this month we found out that Nintendo Switch players can enjoy Larian Studios' RPG Divinity: Original Sin 2 right now, and the developer has just released a video detailing how they achieved cross-save compatibility between Steam and the Switch version.

It's a "playful reenactment" seeing creative director Swen Vincke plotting to infiltrate Steam's headquarters at Valve, circumventing the powerful security measures to make sure that cross-save could be achieved.
