Is Konami bringing back old video games?

Some job listings make us think they might be.
Stefan Briesenick 3 April 2017

The fact that the Bomberman series has been brought back to life for the Nintendo Switch after all these years should have made many fans of the series very happy. After all, they had to wait a long time for a new game. Whether Konami's series is now due for a big wait again, we don't know, but the publisher may have some other plans regarding nostalgic games.

In the Japanese region, the company has published adverts in which they're looking for new programmers, designers, writers, and more - nothing unusual for a video game company, to be honest. When you take a closer look at the advertisements, though, it becomes more interesting, as you'll will find iconic figures of some forgotten video game series from Konami, such as Suikoden, Tokimeki Memorial, Contra, LovePlus, and Castlevania. Konami is not only searching for candidates with experience in the consoles market, but also looking for people who have experience in dealing with mobile platforms as well. What do you think - how likely is it that Konami will return to these forgotten series?

Thanks, Dualshockers.
