Update: After enquiring about prices other than USD, we can confirm that the game will cost €24.99, or £19.49.
Asmodee Digital has revealed a brand new gameplay trailer for RPG Gloomhaven ahead of release onto Steam Early Access on July 17, when fans can pick up Flaming Fowl Studios' game for $24.99 USD.
The trailer shows off the dungeon-crawling we can expect in the game, which brings the board game to life as you play as a crew of two to four mercenaries. It's described as having a "legendary unforgiving difficulty", and the Adventure Mode will be there at the launch of the Early Access version, based on roguelike mechanics. The roster of characters, bosses, and enemies will be expanded as Early Access continues, along with other elements as well.
At full launch we'll be able to experience the full campaign from the board game, along with a co-op mode and all the content arriving regularly during its time in Early Access. The price will also increase slightly during full launch, but those who bought the game before that won't get charged any extra.
