Ghost Recon: Breakpoint

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint will have matchmaking in raids

Worried that your friends might not be able to tag along when the franchise's first raid launches? No need to worry, as players around the world will be able to help.

Massive Entertainment, Red Storm and the other developers of The Division 2 got a lot of criticism when they released the first raid in The Division 2, not only because it was "too hard" on consoles, but also because you could only play it with your friends. That's why we had to ask Nouredine Abboud, the executive producer of Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, what kind of options we'll have in that anticipated game, and he had good news.

Abboud confirmed that Ghost Recon: Breakpoint will allow us to matchmake with players around the world when taking on the game's raid. This means that there shouldn't be a problem finding filling your squad with three other players if your friends aren't able to tag along when the raid arrives some time later this fall or winter.

Is this good news for you?

REVIEW. Written by Eirik Hyldbakk Furu

"Ghost Recon: Breakpoint is definitely a fun game at its core, but its identity crisis and focus on quantity over quality shines through in a way that lessens the experience."
