Ghost Recon: Breakpoint will be on Epic, not Steam

Ubisoft has confirmed that PC players will have the same situation as The Division 2 when the game launches this October.

The upcoming game in the Ghost Recon series, Breakpoint, was revealed last night during a livestream held by Ubisoft, and since then Ubisoft has revealed to PCGamesN that the game has signed a deal with the Epic Games Store on PC, much like The Division 2.

Of course this doesn't mean that it'll skip Ubisoft's own service Uplay, but considering Ubisoft's other games heading to the platform it's not a total shock. Epic Games has also been working to acquire a lot of exclusives in the last year or so as well, getting big names like Metro Exodus and Borderlands 3 on board.

Breakpoint will arrive in October, and of course this deal means that fans won't be able to buy it on Steam. Those on PS4 and Xbox One, however, are unaffected, and can still play the game on their chosen console, much like previous entry Wildlands.

Does the Epic exclusivity bother you?
