Final Fantasy VII: Remake

Final Fantasy VII: Remake gets a March 2020 release date

Plus a brand new trailer has landed giving us another look at this much-anticipated reboot.

Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy VII: Remake is heading to PS4 on March 3, 2020, with the news landing alongside a trailer shown during the FF Symphonic Reunion concert last night, which you can see below.

The game, which builds on top of and expands on the iconic original, tells "the story of a world fallen under the control of the Shinra Electric Power Company, a shadowy corporation controlling the planet's very life force as mako energy. In the sprawling city of Midgar, an anti-Shinra organization calling themselves Avalanche have stepped up their resistance. Cloud Strife, a former member of Shinra's elite SOLDIER unit now turned mercenary, lends his aid to the group, unaware of the epic consequences that await him."
