Fans start petition to keep Paragon alive

Recently developer Epic Games revealed that, after having to rethink their strategy going forward, they'd chosen to focus their attention on Fortnite, and that they'd therefore be closing down Paragon in April. This came as a surprise to many, as while Paragon was not the smash hit Fortnite (and its Battle Royale mode) have been, it still has millions of players.

Unsurprisingly, these players are now banding together to try and save Paragon from closure, and some have started a petition via change.org that asks Epic Games to either hand over the development to an external studio or even to make the game open source, so that it can live on in some form.

At the time of writing, the petition is about to hit 25,000 signatures, and it's steadily climbing. Do you think that Epic will listen?
