Fan-favourite Warhammer villain Thanquol reveals his grand schemes ahead of Lords of the End Times DLC release

The End Times have come, and while that might cause a twitch in the eye of older Warhammer fans, who remember how the End Times destroyed the setting of Warhammer Fantasy Battles, in Total War: Warhammer III, the Lords of the End Times DLC just means some epic new battles are going to be taking place. As Creative Assembly revealed the release date of this content-packed DLC, we also got a new cinematic trailer featuring everyone's favourite Saturday morning cartoon villain given a Warhammer makeover.

Thanquol, the Skaven Grey Seer who finds himself foiled at every twist and turn by the eponymous heroes of the Gotrek and Felix books, is finally making his Total War: Warhammer debut. In the trailer, we see he's playing off the other factions against one another, so he can gather enough Warpstone to make people remember his name and bow to his will.

More likely, they'll be bowing to the Verminlords, new demigod-like units in the Skaven roster, which make an appearance in the trailer alongside other units for each of the featured factions.
