We recently visited the Starbreeze/Overkill offices in Stockholm and in addition to speaking to developers (interview and Gamereactor Academy feature upcoming) we also had a chat with Dragomir Mrsic. The Swedish actor portrays the Croatian Dragan - the eighth member of the Payday crew.

Mrsic, who has featured in the Swedish hit film Easy Money II: Hard to Kill (Snabba Cash 2) and had a role in Edge of Tomorrow, has a past as a criminal, something he isn't shy about.

"I don't think there are too many actors who have done heist in movie, heist in real-life and now heist in a video game," says Mrsic of his experience edge.

The heist mentioned was a 1990 job pulled on Gotabanken where two security guards were assaulted and robbed of around 930 million SEK (roughly £73 million in today's currency rates) worth of state bonds as they were about to deliver them to the bank. He was convicted along with his two fellow robbers and served a 3.5 years term in prison. It still stands as the biggest heist in Sweden.

Speaking of Payday 2 there's a new promotion running called "The Hype Train". The basic idea is that players who buy DLC will add "fuel" to the Hype Train and help it reach the next destination. Each destination unlocks new content (and a +10% XP boost) for every who plays Payday 2. There are some great rewards in there including a couple of heists, mod packs, and more. The final reward at 2,000,000 gallons of hype fuel (that equates to roughly 143,000 Overkill Packs sold) activates a $250,000 prize pool tournament (Paydaycon L.A.).
