Did you love fragging it up in Doom II: Hell on Earth back in the day and do you now also enjoy battle royale games? We suspect that might apply to a fair few of you.
If that sounds like you then we have some excellent news to share. You see, thanks to a mod developed by Retrodex Gaming, it's now possible to transform the vintage shooter into a battle royale that supports up to 64 players, along with eight bots that are thrown in for good measure.
Weapons, ammunition, and power-ups are generated across the arena, and, just like other genre games like PUBG and Fortnite, as the players are eliminated the map gets smaller. The map consists of three levels from the original game.
In order to use the mod, you will need to download Zandronum 3.0 (you can read more about what you need to do right here). Finally, if you're curious and you want to see how Doom 2 plays as a battle royale, you can see it action over here.
Thanks, PCGamer.
