Dead by Daylight's Stranger Things chapter is now live

Behaviour Interactive's Dead by Daylight got its Stranger Things chapter today, but the dedicated servers launch has been pushed back.

The new chapter in Dead by Daylight is, as we've reported on before, the Stranger Things chapter and it went live today. Featuring a new map in Hawkins National Laboratory, two new survivors in Nancy Wheeler and Steve Harrington and a new killer in the Demogorgon, the update is a big one and you can play it right now on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Apart from the new chapter, however, fans have been excited for the launch of the dedicated servers update, which will make each game hosted by a Dead by Daylight server instead of on the killer's personal network, negating so-called "rage quits" on the killers part as well as make the connection more steady. This update, even though it was set to release this summer has now been pushed back to fall of this year.

"It's an atmospheric and frightening experience, one that has the ability to thrill and delight in equal measure."
