During E3 we caught up with Creative Assembly's Andy Hall, the lead writer working on Total War: Warhammer, and he had plenty to tell us about the game, including this little tidbit regarding the size of the campaign map.
"Each project in that trilogy will be a standalone game," Hall told us. "So you can just go straight into the second one if you want, but if you've got all three they will connect together to make the largest campaign map in Total War history."
Given the size of the campaign map in Rome II, this will be no mean feat. Hall doesn't go into detail as to how the maps will connect together and how they will impact each other over the course of each respective campaign, but it does suggest the scale of CA's ambition with regards to Warhammer. Stay tuned for more details regarding the next Total War later today.
