Monumental Games may not be the best known developer from the United Kingdom. Yet. But with a hundred employees in Nottingham, Manchester and India they are aiming to change all that. The studio have done the Cybersports published Football Superstars and are working on hunting MMO Hunter's World is closing in on the beta stage.

It has now been announced that Japanese publisher Capcom are to publish "an as yet unannounced multi-platform title scheduled for release later this year". While there is no concrete information on the title yet, it can be assumed that Capcom have signed the game known only as the "console project" over at Monumental's website. Below is the short information that can be found at the site:

"With the wealth of in-house experience of latest-generation console development, it was only a matter of time before we embarked on a console project.

We can't reveal the franchise as yet, but we can say we're both proud and excited to be working on it. As you would expect given our core technology, there's a substantial online element, but the gameplay focus is pure adrenalin."
