The new deal between Activision and Sony for Call of Duty has revealed its first bonus for PS-based CoD players, with the beta for Black Ops 3 heading to PlayStation 4 on August 19.

It's due to run for five days, with the Xbox and PC versions of the beta likely to come online after the PS-exclusive part of the trial ends on August 23. Whether it goes cross-platform straight away following the exclusive beta, or even at a later date, Activision has yet to confirm.
