We've known that Assassin's Creed III and Assassin's Creed III: Liberation are being remastered for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for quite some time now, but the amount of rumours and alleged leaks have also made people believe that the announcement of a Nintendo Switch version was imminent as well. It took a while, but the confirmation has finally arrived courtesy of last night's Nintendo Direct.
Ubisoft has given us a trailer that confirms Assassin's Creed III and Assassin's Creed III: Liberation will make their way to the Switch. Not on the same day as the other versions, March 29, though, but instead on May 21. Hopefully, this extra time will just lead to the Switch version being as close to identical to the ones on PC, PS4 and Xbox One as possible, and not a sign of trouble.
