Microsoft have announced that the Halo Wars demo (released on February 5) was downloaded by more than 2 million Xbox Live Gold members in the first five days. The demo also broke the day one record for a demo on Xbox Live. Remains to be seen if demo downloads will translate into sales as the game release late February in Europe and early in March in North America.
