Castlevania DLC delay explained

Problem with Xbox Live, says dev
Gillen McAllister 31 March 2011

Mercury Steam's David Cox has said the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow DLC that was due to hit this week has been delayed due to a problem with the Xbox 360 version.

Tweeting @CastlevaniaLOS, Cox said there was "a last minute issue with 360 version which we are working with Microsoft to fix." He added: "Hopefully will be quick."

Responding to queries, Cox clarified that it was "an issue with Xbox Live not the DLC itself." While the DLC was due out on PS3 as well, the delay has effected that as well. Cox pointed out that the studio "have agreements to sim ship our products with Microsoft. Gotta thank the Sony Europe guys for respecting that!"

When it does make release, the Reverie DLC, which adds two new chapters to the Castlevania game, will retail for £6.39 on PSN and 800MP on Xbox Live.
