Rumour: Is Warner working on a new Batman title?

Is the next entry in the series based on The Court of Owls?
Paweł Matyjewicz 4 December 2018

File this one under circumstantial. An associate producer at Warner Bros. Monteral posted a photo on Twitter, which shows the back of a t-shirt with a Court of Owls symbol, suggesting the studio responsible for Batman: Arkham Origins could be working on a new Batman title.

Of course, this is only a logo on the shirt, so it's hardly conclusive evidence. With Rocksteady seemingly working on something other than a new Arkham title (but not the long-rumoured Superman game), it would make sense for Warner's Montreal studio to step in once more to satisfy player demands for a new Batman title.

If it turns out that The Court of Owls is involved with a potential new Arkham title then we could be dealing with the darkest part of the series to date, as every Batman fan knows, the Court of Owls means serious business. The organisation has practically been controlling Gotham City for years and is one of the biggest threats the Caped Crusader has ever faced.

We're getting ahead of ourselves... but we can't help it. Would you like to see a new Arkham game featuring the Court of Owls?
