Black Ops beat Modern Warfare 2

Even more preorders this time around

Will the world ever get enough of Call of Duty? If you remember last year, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 broke all kinds of records and has been on the top 10-lists more or less constantly ever since. The amount of money that game made for Activision is staggering, but it seems like the Call of Duty-saga hardly ended there - now Gamespot report that they have more preorders for Call of Duty: Black Ops than Modern Warfare 2 had at the same time last year.

In other words, Call of Duty: Black Ops does stand the chance of making Activision another gazillion dollars. The new record race begins in November, we're staying tuned.
