Super Bomberman R started out as a Switch exclusive, but has since moved onto other platforms, introducing platform-specific mascot characters in the process, and it seems Konami isn't done adding new characters, as a new update proves.
The developer has released a new trailer announcing a major update for the game centered around the Metal Gear Solid series, introducing not only a new stage, Motherbase, but also a new mode called Checkpoints and a whole host of iconic Metal Gear characters.
Naked Snake and Solid Snake have been added, both of which are voiced by David Hayter, and on top of that we're also getting Raiden as part of the update, which is live on all platforms right now. Which will you be playing as first?
