Cory Barlog claims to have 5 more God of Wars "mapped out"

But it may be a bit soon to pre-order God of War IX.

As you've probably noticed, the new God of War for PS4 was incredibly well-received (including by us, as you can tell from our review), and now the game's director Cory Barlog told Kotaku that he has no less than five more ideas for adventures in the series. Was he being completely serious? It's hard to tell, but given the way video game production works, it's hard to imagine that all of those ideas will ever become fully realised games.

Considering the time it took the studio to make this entry, it's good to know that Barlog wants "to figure out how to make these things faster" too. Regardless of the number of sequels Barlog has in his head, it is highly likely that he'll at least get to realise one of those ideas next as God of War is a storming success...

What kind of new God of War games would you like to see? One set in Egypt? In North America? Or perhaps a return to Greece?
