God of War has been shown off repeatedly at various events, and during the last two major showcases, that being E3 and Paris Games Week, both trailers have ended with the vague phrase "Early 2018", which some interprets simply as being the first half of the year, while others mean it indicates a release in the first quarter.
In the latest edition of Weekly Famitsu (translated by Dualshockers), Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan and Asia Localisation Producer Chris Ashimine spoke at length about the state of the game, and how the Japanese localisation is going. When he was asked about a release date, he simply replied that he believes the team will be able to announce the release date "soon".
And staying true to tradition, he did not elaborate further. When do you think God of War will release?
