Paragon receives big New Dawn update

There's all manner of things included.

Epic Games has just released a major update for its MOBA Paragon, and the Dawn update reworks the game's card and itemisation system, while also offering a number of other big changes and new features.

The New Dawn provides a fresh way for players to build Heroes, and players can explore 100 new cards with unique abilities, as well as a new Gem system to change Hero stats and access unique abilities. There's an "unlimited variety of power" here, and all of this comes with a new look and way to play.

On top of this, attack speed has been increased and cooldowns reduced for all of the heroes, so that basic attacks and abilities feel more responsive and quicker to use. Epic Games says that this "embraces the level of immersion" they're going for in the game.

Balance is another key aspect of this update, which has been totally rebuilt, as every hero, tower, and minion has new baseline stats. Iggy and Scorch have also been completely reworked, including new abilities, turrets, and attacks.
