The man, the myth, the legend himself, Shigeru Miyamoto, took to the stage with Yves Guillemot to announce Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, exclusive to Nintendo Switch, releasing on August 29.
Miyamoto said he wanted "a Mario game that had never been made before", and he claims Kingdom Battle has a "great layer of tactics and strategy to it and will be very fresh". The game is set in Mario's world of the mushroom kingdom, and seems more combat focused than previous Mario games.
