There's been rumours circulating regarding a potential remaster of Starcraft for ages now, but now it seems that evidence of its existence is finally surfacing, and its release might not be far off.

According to South Korean news outlet Sports Seoul, who have allegedly spoken with several industry sources, Blizzard is planning an updated version of the original game entitled Starcraft: Remastered. The remaster will contain high-resolution graphics and updated Battle.net services, according to the same report.

Blizzard is reportedly aiming at making the official announcement in Korea sometime next week, and it's said to release in May or June. Is Starcraft the Blizzard game you'd most like to see remastered?
