Epic Games announced today that their third-person MOBA, Paragon, will go into open beta on August 16 on PC and PlayStation 4. Epic also announced that from June 21, all those who are participating in Early Access will receive a new hero, called Khaimera.

According to the description offered by the studio, Khaimera is a melee fighter that is "Paragon's first duellist who specialises in disrupting team fights with close-up encounters. His Pounce leaps to a target enemy Hero, briefly stunning that Hero and dealing Physical Damage around him.

"While engaged in fights, Khaimera's Spirit Regeneration stacks more health regen with each basic attack. His Ultimate, Cull, deals a large amount of damage, both rooting and isolating a target from allies".

Below, you can take a look at the announcement trailer for Khaimera and some new screenshots. In addition to all that, Epic also announced a number of important improvements that will be made to the game, including some gameplay tweaks. For further details you can take a look at the official blog.
