The "cyberpunk noir" of Klei's Invisible, Inc.

We chat with designer Seth Rosen about the game that combines stealth and procedural elements.

While designer Seth Rosen may not be working on the team that does {Invisible, Inc.} at Klei Entertainment (he works on Don't Starve) he sure did seem to know quite a bit about the top down stealth title.

"{Invisible, Inc.} is a turn-based tactical stealth game," says Rosen. "It's set in kind of a cyberpunk noir universe, and basically you control this team of agents and you go on a series of missions where you're infiltrating corporations and you're stealing their data, you're stealing their money, and you're using those resources to upgrade your team of agents."

As you've probably figured out it's a fairly challenging proposition.

"It is absolutely difficult," says Rosen. "The first time I played it I think I didn't make it out of the first level alive. It's definitely tricky. It's a game where you have to be extremely careful about how you're planning, where you're leaving your agents, making sure they are in cover between turns."

Since the interview the full release of {Invisible, Inc.} on Steam has been set for May 12. So just a couple of weeks remains.
