Looking for a nice place to go on vacation in a MMO this year? How about waiting for The Secret World instead where you can visit the Lovecraft-inspired Kingsmouth? Although that might not be released this year, we don't know yet. Anyway!
This trailer from The Secret World shows, as you might have guessed, the first location revealed from the game - the once pittoresque town of Kingsmouth, now turned into a Cthulhu vs Zombies-nightmare. The video is all made from in-game footage, except for the grainy filter and the lack of color and according to game director Ragnar Tørnquist it "simply scratches the surface and reveals only a tiny glimpse of what this location is all about. Kingsmouth harbors ancient secrets and dark conspiracies that players have to work together to uncover - along with a menagerie of evil, including creatures from myth and legend, and horrors from the sea."
So bring out that old robe that is gathering dust in your wardrobe, practice your Cthulhu f'taghn and have a peak and what The Secret World will have to offer - whenever it is released, that is.
