Wastelands Interactive's upcoming turn-based 4X fantasy strategy title received a new gameplay video today, following an announcement that the game will hit Early Access on September 11.
The game is set to be a spiritual successor to Master of Magic, the 1994 game that introduced the concept of playing through multiple layers of existence, a mechanic familiar to any player of Heroes of Might and Magic or Age of Wonders.
Worlds of Magic is set to feature seven planes of existence, procedurally generated worlds, ten terrain types, eight playable races, thirty resource types to exploit, over 400 spells, and the ability to create your own Sorcerer Lord if you don't take a liking to one of the thirteen the game provides. While this all sounds very impressive, we're eager to see something playable before making any judgements.
