After yesterday's accidental reveal, EA has officially confirmed Battlefield Hardline, a new shooter being developed by Visceral Games (Dead Space), that's set to land this autumn.
Billed as a brand new series in the Battlefield franchise, there's to be focus on "the war of crime and the battle between cops and criminals".
In the post by Steve Papoutsis we're promised more details at E3, specifically how they're going to add "new twists and turns to the foundation of Battlefield multiplayer" and how they're "bringing our strengths at Visceral to single player."
