Ubisoft last night revealed that pre-orders for Watch Dogs are through the roof, breaking the record for pre-orders for a new IP. What it shows us without doubt, is that there's appetite out there for new franchises and experiences, and the setting and style of Watch Dogs has clearly resonated with huge numbers of people. Let's hope that Ubisoft can deliver on the game's potential when it launches on May 27.
