Julian Gollop, the creator of some of the most influential strategy games of the last 20-odd years (including X-Com: UFO Defense/UFO: Enemy Unknown), has been assembling a team and is about to launch a campaign on Kickstarter for Chaos Reborn.
The new game, which is a reworking of a thirty year title that originally appeared on the ZX Spectrum, will feature magical battles taking place over a 3-level terrain system. There'll be multiplayer arena wizard battles, plus single and co-op exploration modes. There's plenty of gameplay details available here, which better explains how the combat will work, and some of the different features that will be included.
The crowdfunding campaign will start on March 14, where we'll no doubt start to hear more about this promising title. We'll share more with you then.
