Blood Bowl 2 gets big solo campaign improvement

We talk to Cyanide about the Orcish football sequel.
Bengt Lemne 3 February 2014

Blood Bowl is simply put a sports game with a distinct fantasy flavour and Cyanide Studios are hard at work on the sequel to Blood Bowl (2009).

"The biggest improvement is the solo campaign," says senior product manager Sylvain Séchi. "This is really something we wanted to improve. A very story-driven story with lots of different matches, lots of different events. We also improved all the management aspects of the game with different leagues, multiplayer leagues, multiplayer competition. A mercato [sic] system that allows you to trade players between eachother. Another system that allows you to customise the AI of your characters and also to bring a new competitive AI into the game."

Blood Bowl 2 is only announced for PC at this point (potential for console versions is still there) and scheduled for release towards the end of the year.
