There has been some confusion with regards to the release of Red Barrels' Outlast for PS4 and whether it will be part of the Instant Game Collection with PS Plus. Gamer Points Now reported that Outlast was part of a list of games for February and what is said to be the official Outlast page on Facebook seemingly confirmed that Outlast will release in February on PS4 and that it will be free with PS Plus.
However, our Portuguese colleague at Gamereactor contacted Red Barrels for an official response and this is what they wrote back:
"Unfortunately the information that went online today was from the fan-administrated Facebook. The game is looking likely to release in February at this time, but the pricing and timing details have not been solidified just yet with Sony for any of the territories!"
Seems someone jumped the gun a little, but hopefully it will see release in February and be part of the Instant Game Collection.
