Halo Archive lets fans relive their greatest Halo memories as Campaign Evolved sparks nostalgia revival

A fan-made archive is giving Halo players the chance to revisit their old stats, matches, and multiplayer history from the series' golden era.

With Halo: Campaign Evolved bringing players back to where the legendary Xbox franchise began, nostalgia for the series' earliest and arguably brightest years was at an all-time high. But while fans revisit that massive ring, another project is giving you the chance to revisit something far more personal: your own Halo history.

Halo Archive is a fan-created website designed to preserve and restore access to the multiplayer memories of Halo's past, allowing players to explore old statistics from the era that helped define online gaming.

During the Bungie era, players had access to detailed online profiles through Bungie.net, where they could track their progress, review match reports, and analyse their performance across multiplayer. When those services disappeared, much of that history became difficult or impossible for players to access. Halo Archive is now giving some of it a second life.

Halo Archive is a searchable database where players can explore their old Halo 2 & 3 records and rediscover the games that made up some of their most memorable gaming experiences.

Players can revisit a whole host of things, from the hours you used to play (and when you were at your peak performance), the people you most played with (as well as who you played your best with) and happened to come up against. You can even find out who your greatest nemesis was.
The site operates on an API-credit system. You start with 200 credits, with individual analyses costing credits depending on what you're asking Halo Archive to dig into.

Halo Archive isn't something you're likely to spend hours on, or even frequently return to. It's just a fun way to kill a bit of time and get a fix of nostalgia, perfect for a lunch break or when your manager isn't looking. Not that we condone that...

Head over to Halo Archive here, it takes a few minutes to request access. Once you're in, it'll feel like 2007 all over again.
