Rockfish Games has brought Everspace 2 to a new platform, shadow-dropping the Nintendo Switch 2 version of its grand space adventure in a neat bundle with all the prior DLC. Packing 10 star systems, more than 50 hours of story content, and more, Everspace 2: Galactic Edition is bringing the complete bundle to gamers on the go.

Hats off to the team on the incredible work!" said Rockfish Games CEO and co-founder Michael Schade in a press release.
The game runs at a capped 30fps on Nintendo Switch 2, and the Galactic Edition bundle is a digital-only purchase, available on the Nintendo Switch 2 eShop for 49.99 USD / 49.99 Euro / 39.99 GBP / 6.980 JPY.
"While content plans for EVERSPACE 2 are wrapped up, we're not done telling stories in the EVERSPACE universe or creating awesome action-packed space adventures. While it will be a while before we can reveal anything, I can't wait to show our community of space game fans the incredibly exciting things we've been working on," Schade added.
Everspace 2: Galactic Edition is available on other platforms, but is more expensive than the Switch 2 version. On Steam, for example, it currently costs £60.76. The release on Nintendo Switch 2 marks the end of one adventure, but as Schade said, it seems this opens the door for the next story in Everspace's galactic journey.
